Goodbye 2016!

We spent the last couple of days of 2016 just enjoying each other and playing with all our new toys. We took a little field trip to the Drill Field to ride bikes with Addi.
I had to document Mamie's only nap of the entire Christmas break. She finally passed out one afternoon with her hand in the goldfish bow.
Wes and I enjoyed a night out on Dec. 30. We barely squeezed in it, but we met our new year's resolution for 2016...12 dates in 12 months!! Such a fun resolution to keep! Can't wait to do it again in 2017!!!
The big three had a fun sleepover at Nick and Mary Todd's, roasting hotdogs and making s'mores in their fireplace. MR got a makeover! Wowza!
MR's new makeup kit has been a hit. Lots of fancy faces at our house these days.
We rang in the new year with the Jollys and Thomases at the Brown's house. What a crew!
Love these kiddos! They put on quite a musical performance for us down in the basement.
Thankful for these mamas to do life with!
Always thankful for my fave date!
The kids stayed up until 11 to see the ball drop in NYC, then sacked out! Of course we enjoyed our hoppin' john and cornbread on New Year's Day to welcome in 2017. Wes also wanted us to come up with some resolutions and fun things we wanted to do as a family, so he made this chalkboard. Cannot wait to mark off all this fun!!
We girls also cheered on the women's basketball team on New Year's Day and posed with the Golden Egg.
2016 has been wonderful! Looking forward to the new year! 2017, we are coming for you!
