Girls' weekend

Last weekend, Wesley and I headed to see our BFF Sally's new home in Hernando and help her celebrate her 30th birthday!
We had such a great time browsing all the cute shops in Hernando, including our college friend Jamie's adorable store The Square Cupboard. Of course we hit up lots of children's stores too since both Sal and Wesley are due on the same day with sweet baby boys!! Also...who knew Hernando had such a great Goodwill? It looked like a department store, with all of the men's shirts hanging in rainbow order! It was a fun day!

Later that night, we met Sarah at Flight in Memphis for Sal's birthday dinner....ah-ma-zing! The food and atmosphere were perfect, and I highly recommend it for a night on the town! Sally and I split a "flight" (three small portions of different dishes) of salads and entrees. Between the four of us, we got to taste everyone's dinner choices of nearly 10 entrees. We all split one flight of desserts because we were so full. Basically, our dinner conversation consisted of comments about how good the food tasted!
The restaurant also has complimentary valet parking at the door...did I mention Sarah and I had two preggos in tow? It was such a fun night and such a treat!!!

Wes, MR and Murphy had, according to Mary Reeves, "a great weekend" too..."A man brought pizza right to our house!! I don't know how he knew how to find us!" ha! I forgot the first 3 years of her life were spent in a non-delivery town, and we usually just pick up a pizza on the go...it was her first pizza delivery experience!

My awesome husband finished up this bulletin/chalkboard for us to hang in the laundry room. Everyone who comes in our garage enters our house through the laundry room, which is definitely not the best feature of our house with dirty clothes baskets on the dryer, mail on the counter, etc. so I really wanted something fun to hang on the large wall by the door....maybe to divert their eyes! I love this!! It makes me really happy as I go in and out of the house!

He also had the whole house clean upon my return....the man definitely understands my Love Language!! So, so thankful for a much-needed weekend to catch up with friends and rejuvenate ourselves, but I was so happy to get home to my babies too!

Love that MR had her first pizza delivery experience! I had my first experience with that in Starkville as well...when we moved here when I was in the 8th grade! It's quite a handy little feature that sure beats living in a small town!
