Once they were feeling better, we did sneak out for a quick visit with St. Nick at the local co-op! There was no line, and he was a super jolly Santa, so it was a much better option than the mall this year...even if his beard was a little ill-fitting. :)
Mary Reeves told Santa that all she wants for Christmas is "princess costumes." :) All I wanted was our annual photo to add to the collection. Murphy only sat on his lap for the few seconds to snap the pic, while MR lingered longer, collecting her reindeer food, candy cane and Christmas pencil.
Murphy and I hung out on the work boot aisle while he sucked on his fruit-flavored candy cane. He loved it! I'm thinking maybe it was his first taste of something like that though, so I didn't blame him!
So we marked that off the Christmas to-do list! Successful trip if you ask me!Also, our dossier was sent from our agency in St. Louis to DC last Tuesday, so I'm praying and hoping to hear VERY SOON that we are on the waitlist!!! That's what I really want for Christmas!
We want to give a HUGE thank you to my aunt Amy for submitting the highest bid in our painting auction! I can't wait to give it to you when you come for Christmas!! Thank you again to Emily for sharing her talent with our family! We are so grateful to both of you!!!!
