She freaked out a little when I dropped her off to put her costume on, so I was pretty sure she wasn't going to sing, although she knew all the songs and all the lines. As you can tell, she didn't quite know what to make of the crowd when the kids walked out. Her face says what her little mind is thinking: "I don't know about this." She tells me that all the time when she's a little unsure. ha!
However, her face lit up when she found Wes and me in the crowd! She really did great, and we were so proud of her!
Murphy is also getting into the spirit! He was only three-months-old last Christmas, so this year is really fun for both their ages!
We picked out a tree, decorated it without breaking any ornaments (although some they may not survive Murphy's curiosity until we pack them away!), and listened to lots of Christmas music!
MR is so proud of her little tree!
I took a Christmas card pic by myself, with no one else there to help wrangle them!
We've also decorated a gingerbread house and been on the lookout for Elfie's whereabouts every morning. Unfortunately, he's forgotten to move a few times, and I've had to explain that he didn't get to fly to the North Pole that night because it was too cold and he likes our warm house! Oops!!
Mary Reeves also looks forward to our Advent countdown every night! I've yet to take a picture of the manger scene we are creating with stickers, but I'll get one this weekend. Even with all the other fun activities, it's so important to try to focus on the real meaning...the birth of our Savior!
If you are still Christmas shopping like me, please don't forget our painting auction while you're shopping for Christmas gifts! It ends tomorrow at 8 p.m., and so far it stands at $100. It's a great painting and a great cause! :)
